Join Lit Night and the Saratoga Book Festival for The Winter Hearth, an intimate winter evening celebrating the power of literature, live music, and the simple pleasure of being together.
At the heart of the evening will be The Hearth, an original art installation that reimagines the communal fire for our time. Rather than watching a performance from a distance, you’ll find yourself immersed in an atmosphere designed for listening, connection, and shared wonder.
The evening will weave together live music, readings of winter poetry, and the art of storytelling. From evocative poems to the magical and compelling tales of Icelandic mythology, the program invites us to experience the enduring power of stories to entertain, move, surprise, and connect us.
Enjoy a signature cocktail and small desserts, with a full cash bar available, as you settle into a warm, welcoming space. Come with friends or on your own; there is room around this hearth for everyone.
Proceeds benefit Lit Night and the Saratoga Book Festival, supporting literary programming that brings our community together through books, ideas, and the spoken word all year long.
The Winter Hearth is more than a fundraiser. It’s an invitation to slow down, step away from the everyday, and share something meaningful in the heart of winter.
We gather to be reminded that, even in the darkest season, we are part of something larger than ourselves.
